It was a lot of hard work, pre-planning, mid-revisions, more planning, post-planning… still planning!  But it was a great opportunity to put to practice all of the things I have learned along the way from life and from great mentors and brand partners whose presence I have been blessed to experience; and I loved having the opportunity to express ‘my creative’ the way I wanted too and see it come to life.  Definitely could not have done any of this alone, BIG THANK YOU’S to my wonderful Book Trailer Team, Trell, LaTiscia, Kimmie, Khavari and Dale… you guys Rock!  And to the Image Branding Team THANK YOU to Joi Pearson, Vaushaun Brooks, Jasimine Agape Pennywell, Tawyana Athey and A. visualization over various production projects and as she shares these gifts at a local ministry; as well as serving as that ministry’s Drama Ministry Team Lead. LaTiscia has facilitated logistical and production management for several branding events for area artist, solidifying her mastery in the creative logistical services. 

 

LaTiscia holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with concentrations in Accounting and Economics from Virginia Commonwealth University.  She also earned two professional procurement certifications:  Virginia Contracting Associate (VCA) and Virginia Contracting Officer (VCO).  LaTiscia is currently studying to take the Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) certification exam. Many programs benefitted from her procurement expertise, teamwork, and experience in leadership development.  She is responsible for the acquisition of several key commodities, for which she applies her skills as an experienced contract officer and supplier diversity supply chain advocate.

 

LaTiscia is a Board Member of the Capital Area Purchasing Association (CAPA), and has served in several other leadership roles for the chapter.  She is also an active member of the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) where she participates on the Young Professionals Council and active member is the 2014 Leadership Development Symposium Group; and a member of the Diversity Committee for the Virginia Association of Governmental Purchasing (VAGP).

 

In her spare time, LaTiscia supports local theatre, various charities, and participates as a leader and mentor in youth ministry.  For all who know her, there’s no denying LaTiscia’s bright and cheerful laugh which closed doors and walls cannot even contain.

LaTiscia Fowlkes is a creative and logistical being. Her early career in the arts began as a child in her local church.  Over the years she has continued to grow as an actor and writer, as well as her true passion for those components behind the operation began to develop.  LaTiscia has a keen spirit and eye that is mandatory for Casting Calls and Production Management; her specialty. Her ability to commit her all, foresight to see and anticipate a project’s creative needs while maintaining the producer’s vision is awe inspiring. LaTiscia’s love for the ‘craft of the arts’ is found behind the scenes as she serves as a creative component in production and

Kimmie Whitehead

Lead Actress & Production-Set Hostess

 

Thank you Kimmie for allowing us to film on your location and for so graciously hosting, providing food and beverage each day... you Rock!

 

Kimi is a Native American actress, with skills to portray a diversity of cultures and ages. Her characters have ranged from an Indian Maiden (movie "Broken Chain" directed by Lamont Johnson with Pierce Brosnan, Wes Studies and Graham Green) a Gossip, a Saint, a Motivator, Mother Mary, a Church Elder (church skits) a Cheap Customer and a Puert Rican Theif (from Carolyn Hendrix' stage play "Christmas Everyday").

 

Generally in comedic roles, her performance as 'Momma aka Pat' in Joye B. Moore's "Hopefully Beautiful" shows us how she can also perform as a complicated, emotionally damaged and abusive mother.

 

Kimi is a Professional Acrylic Artist and Owner of Native by Nature, a lead singer in several local bands, has a green belt in American martial arts and is an MMA enthusiast.
